Suspicious vehicle leads to drug arrest

Sheriff Scott Montgomery reports that on Monday July 8, 2013 Inv. John Nichols was patrolling an area that had been recently hit with burglaries and spotted a suspicious vehicle.  Inv. Nichols approached the vehicle to question the driver Gina Collins 50 year old female of Alexander, when he noticed in plain sight an open container with a green vegetable substance (Marijuana) in it.  Collins admitted to Inv. Nichols that it was marijuana.

Inv. Nichols cited Collins with possession of a controlled substance, a class A Misdemeanor.
