Bigelow man arrested for Fleeing and Possession of Meth

On May 31, 2022, at approximately 7:03pm while on routine patrol Deputies observed a pickup truck at a high rate of speed on State Hwy 60 East near Ada Lane. Deputy activated his blue lights and siren in attempt to stop the pickup, the pickup continued speeding and turned onto Breezewood Road. The driver of the vehicle finally came to a stop at a residence on Breezewood Road. Suspect, George Writtenhouse, 58 years old, of Bigelow was taken into custody and charged with speeding, felony fleeing, reckless driving, driving on a suspended drivers license, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamines), possession of drug paraphernalia. Writtenhouse is being held in the Perry County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
