On Feb. 27, 2021 at approximately 6:45 PM Deputy Moore was at the Exxon in Perryville when he witnessed Jacob Andrews walking out of the store. Moore immediately recognized him and advised him that he was under arrest for warrants out of Perry County. Moore advised him to put his hands behind his back and Andrews immediately started arguing and resisting arrest. Andrews got away from Moore and ran, Moore chased him and was able to get him detained. After detaining him, Moore found two methamphetamine pipes with residue in Andrews front pocket.
Andrews is being charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class D Felony two counts), Resisting Arrest, Fleeing on Foot. Andrews is being held in the Perry County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
