Traffic stop leads to Hot Springs man getting arrested for Possession of Marijuana

On August 25, 2018 at approximately 12:37 PM Deputy Nathan Williams was working routine patrol on State Hwy 9 South when he observed a white trailblazer with no license plate light. Deputy Williams stopped the vehicle and during the stop he smelled the odor of Marijuana. The 27 year old man from Hot Springs was asked if he had Marijuana and he voluntarily gave up the Marijuana, he was cited and released for possession of a controlled substance, a class A Misdemeanor.
