Traffic stop for speeding leads to drug charges

On October 12, 2016 @ approximately 10:00 PM Lt. Bill Finley was on routine patrol on East Perry County Line road when he observed a silver Honda Accord travelling 62 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. After making contact with the driver, Daniel T. Warren (20 years old) of Adona, Lt. Finley smelled a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the car. Mr. Warren admitted to Lt. Finley that he had smoked Marijuana earlier in the day. A search of Mr. Warren’s car was conducted and a Marijuana cigarette was found in his console.

Mr. Warren was charged with speeding and possession of a controlled substance, class A misdemeanor.
