Deputy Denise Huber completes 13 week basic training course for Law Enforcement Officers

Deputy Kathryn “Denise” Huber just completed a 13 week basic training course at the Police Academy at East Camden, Arkansas.

Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy (ALETA) trained Deputy Huber in Firearms, Criminal Laws, Civil Laws, Use of Force, Constitutional Law, Traffic Stops, Accident Investigations, etc.

Deputy Huber joined the Perry County Sheriff’s Reserve Program in September of 2014, completing a part time two course of 167 hours of training at Plumerville Police Dept. under Chief Bill Hartman.

“Deputy Huber will make us a great Deputy, she has a great personality. Denise and I have the same goal, Serve and Protect the Great Citizens of Perry County with professionalism, respect, and courtesy”, stated Sheriff Montgomery.
