Full time Detention Officers openings. This is a full-time position with all county benefits provided.  These include health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time, and state retirement system.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and have a clean criminal history.  Starting salary is $23,000.00 a year. Apply in person at the Sheriff's Office between 8AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri.

 

Perry County Sheriff's Office is now accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff for the Patrol Division.  This is a full-time position with all county benefits provided.  These include health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time, and state retirement system.  Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and have a clean criminal history. Applicants who hold a current valid certification from the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training as a full-time law enforcement officer is preferred, but not required. 

Starting pay for the position under Perry County's wage scale will be $12.50 to $13.94 per hour, depending on prior experience.  Uniforms, patrol vehicle, and some duty gear are provided.
